KARACHI, Nov 20: Shaikh Haider A. Rahman, ex-principal of S. M. Law College, former dean of law, Karachi University, and ex-professor of Usmania University Hyderabad (Deccan), died here on Tuesday. He was 85.
He was buried in North Karachi graveyard in the evening. His funeral prayer was attended among others by former Chief Justice of Pakistan Ajmal Mian, Sindh High Court’s Justice Musheer Alam and Justice Zahid Qurban Alvi, members of the Sindh High Court and Karachi Bar Associations, and political leaders, including Prof Ghafoor Ahmed.
Soyem will be held between Zuhar and Maghrib prayers on Thursday at E-63, Block F, North Nazimabad. — PPI
