12 Arabs killed in bombing

QUETTA, Nov 18: At least 12 Arabs were killed and six Afghans were injured in heavy US bombing in and around Kandahar on Sunday.

According to injured brought to Chaman from Kandahar, the American planes dropped heavy bombs in Panjwai, Takhtapul and Baba Sahib areas in the early hours.

They said that US planes hit two vehicles with missiles carrying people in Panjwai area, resulting in killing of 12 people on the spot, who were later identified as Arab Mujahideen.

Border Security officials also confirmed heavy bombardment in the area and said that killing of several people was reported.

It may be recalled here that 32 other Arabs including women and children were killed on Thursday last in Baba area of Kandahar. The US warplanes dropped several bombs at a cave-like house in Baba Sahib where these Arabs were living with their families.

The US helicopters also attacked five oil tankers near Tangi area of Afghanistan, which were carrying petrol from Iran.
