Memorial polo begins today
LAHORE, Nov 11: Power Soft 19 will play Millat Tractors in opening match of the Ghulam Muhammad memorial polo tournament at the Lahore Polo Club (LPC) ground from Tuesday.
The final will be played on Nov 18 at 3.15 pm.
The tournament is being organised in memory of the famous polo player Inspector Ghulam Mohammad, who not only played outstandingly during his active career but also trained many police officers and jawans besides also helping in raising a strong Police team.
Seven teams participating in the tournament have been divided into the following two groups:
Group “A”:Lahore Chatkhara Whites, Sherwood, Vogue Greys, Deutsche Bank.
Group “B”: Power Soft 19, Millat Tractors, L.G Electronics.
On Wednesday, Lahore Chatkhara will play against Sherwood at 2:15 pm and Vogue at Deutsche Bank at 3:15 pm.
