Two brothers strangled

KASUR, Nov 9: Two brothers were strangled allegedly by their sister-in-law and three nephews in Lakhnekey village on Friday.

There was a property dispute between Hadayat Ali, Karim Dad and their sister-in-law, Sooba Bibi. On Friday, Sooba Bibi along with her sons, Boota, Javaid and Zafar strangled Hadayat and Karim.

Mustafabad police have registered a case and are investigating.

LOOTED: Cash, rice and gold ornaments were looted in Chunian and Sarai Mughal on Friday.

Zahir and his cousin, Maham Ali, were taking some 200 rice bags to Morkhanda by a tractor-trolley through Hujra Road. Near Behrwal, six armed men riding a car and a motorcycle intercepted them. The bandits tied up Zahir and Maham and made off with the trolley loaded with rice.

Seven dacoits took away cash, gold ornaments and valuables from the house of one Yasin in Chak 41, Sarai Mughal.
