ADBP draw with HBL

KARACHI, Oct 24: Agriculture Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) batted resolutely on the final day to draw their Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tie against Habib Bank at Sheikhupura Stadium Wednesday.

According to details available here, ADBP, who were forced to bat again after conceding a first innings lead of 229, reached 280 for five in their second knock having resumed at 25 for no loss.

Openers Inam-ul-Haq (68) and Hafiz Majid (61) gave ADBP a sound start in a partnership of 120 in two hours and two minutes.

Skipper Zahoor Elahi also played a fine hand by remaining undefeated on 76 off 141 balls in a stay of 160 minutes.

Former Test off-spinner Akram Raza, the Habib Bank captain, captured three for 82.
