KARACHI: Nine vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Oct 16: Nine vehicles - five cars and four motorcycles - were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Tuesday, police said.

Four cars were hijacked in Gizri, Clifton, Ferozabad and New Town. Another was stolen in Bahadurabad.

The motorcycles were stolen in Kharadar, Korangi Industrial Area, Model Colony and Mithadar.

ACCIDENTS: An unidentified young man died in a road accident on Super Highway.

Police said the unidentified victim was in his early 20s. He was run over by a minibus (JE-6312) of route D-7 while walking across the highway near Al- Asif Square. He died on way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, doctors said.
