Akhtar and Kashif put Dadu on top
Kalat and Quetta shared the honours on the first-day at PCB Academy Ground. Kalat were bowled out for 228 four balls before their allotted 65 overs of the first innings. Quetta responded by reaching 122 for one wicket in 32 overs in its first innings. After Manzoor Ahmed went for one, Ali Ahmed and Sabir Hussain put on 119 runs for the unbroken second wicket stand in as many minutes for Quetta. Ali Ahmed was batting on 60 including five boundaries and Sabir Hussain was 46 not out with a the aid of a six and a four at close of play. Opener Jahanzaib topscored for Kalat with 61 with three fours and a six.
