KARACHI, Oct 14: Provincial minister for health, Maj Gen (retd) Ahsan Ahmed, has called for preparation of seniority lists of employees in the population welfare department on the priority basis.

He issued the directive while talking to a delegation of the All Pakistan Clerks Association, Sindh, led by its provincial president Syed Amanullah Shah.

The delegation apprised the minister of their problems which include the withheld salaries of employees of the Karachi division and other districts, and rural health centres and village workers, promotion of employees, seniority lists and benevolent funds.

The minister told the delegation that the issue of promotion would be solved when seniority lists were finalised. He, however, assured that there would be no injustice to anyone. He said that discrepancies in the federal and provincial lists would be removed.—APP
