Man killed by masked assailants

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 12: A man was shot dead by assailants in Chak No 4 near Nankana Sahib early on Friday.

Information received here revealed that Nasrullah, 26, was asleep in his haveli when three masked people entered and opened fire, killing him on the spot.

Nankana Saddar police attributed the incident to an old enmity. However, family sources denied any rivalry.

LOOTED: Dacoits looted valuables worth Rs1 million from the house of a landlord in Jhang village, some 10km from here, on Friday.

As per reports, three dacoits entered Muhammad Ali’s house, held up his mother who was alone in the house and took away valuables.

Two of the dacoits were identified as Ihsan and Anwar.
