PESHAWAR: PML criticizes military govt’s performance

Bureau Report

PESHAWAR, Oct 12: The provincial secretary-general of Pakistan Muslim League, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, has described the military rule as the blackest chapter in the history of the country.

At a joint meeting of PML’s district and city units here on Friday, Mr Jhagra said the military regime had failed to deliver any good on both internal and external front.

Referring to the completion of military’s two years in office, Mr Jhagra said the country had been undergoing a crisis and there was uncertainty among people.

The partys district president, Rashid Khan, presided over the meeting, said a press release. Party leaders Sharafat Ali Mubarak, Haji Hussain Bukhsh, Waqif Khan and others also spoke. They said the government performance was so bad that it got nothing to celebrate on its completion of two years in office.
