38 judges promoted

LAHORE, Oct 10: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday promoted 20 senior civil judges as additional district and sessions judges and 18 civil judges as senior civil judges.

The court also issued posting orders for newly appointed additional district and sessions judges and transfer orders of other judges. The notification said all the officers shall assume charge at the new stations by Oct 17.

It said the tours of additional district and sessions judges from headquarters to Kabirwala, Kehror Pucca, Pindi Bhattian and Nankana sub-division shall be discontinued forthwith. The cases pending in the courts of the touring judges pertaining to these sub-divisions shall be transferred to the AD&SJ Habibur Rahman who has been transferred from Faisalabad to Kabirwala. AD&SJ Maqsood Ahmad Sulehri has been transferred from Rawalpindi to Pindi Bhattian, Jam Manzoor Ahmad from Faisalabad to Narowal and Sanaullah Malik from Toba Tek Singh to Nankana.

AD&SJ Muhammad Gulzar Butt has been transferred from Rawalpindi to Jaranwala, Irshadullah Khan Sial from Lahore to Okara, Sohail Nasir from Gujrat to Attock, Wamiq Javed from Sargodha to Samundri, Tariq Mahmood Iqbal Khan from Rawalpindi to Kasur, Abdul Mustafa Nadeem from Gujranwala to Mandi Bahauddin, Abdul Hafeez from Jaranwala to Nankana, Malik Naseem Hasan from Sammundri to Bahawalpur, Chaudhry Humayun Imtiaz from Mandi Bahauddin to Kehror Pucca and Muhammad Khalid Nawaz from Faisalabad to Rahim Yar Khan.

The senior civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates who have been promoted as AD&SJs are Pervez Ali Shah who has been transferred to Rawalpindi, Manzoor Husain to Faisalabad, Muhammad Azam Ali to Sargodha, Syed Imam Ali Shah to Bahawalnagar, Muhammad Abdul Nasir to Muzzafargarh, Jamshed Husain to Gujranwala, Waqar Husain to Bahawalpur, Salahuddin to Jhang, Mehr Muhammad Yousaf to Mianwali, Muhammad Akram to Lahore, Javed Mahmood Sindhu to Multan, Shahid Mahmood to Gujrat, Nazir Ahmad to Rahim Yar Khan, Shafiq Rafique to Mandi Bahauddin, Imtiaz Ahmad to Rawalpindi, Rana Abdul Qayyum to Kasur, Sardar Muhammad Babar to Bahawalnagar, Shaukat Mahmood to Dera Ghazi Khan, Naseer Ahmad Awan to Vehari, Syed Zafar Abbas Sabzwari to Sargodha and Sanaullah Malik to Nankana.

CIVIL JUDGES: The Lahore High Court has issued posting and transfer orders of the following 21 civil judges:

SCJ Shabbir Husain has been trasferred from Rajanpur to Narowal, Muhammad Afzal Zahid from Lahore to Toba Tek Singh and Abdul Hamid from Lahore to Khushab.

Those promoted as senior civil judges include Muhammad Afzal Shad who has been transferred from Pind Dadan Khan to Vehari. Javed Iqbal Khan has ben transferred from Chowbara to Sargodha. Khaqan Babar remains in Lahore, Ghazanfar Haider Pasha in Jhang, Muhammad Waseem Akhtar in Mandi Bahauddin,and Mian Ghulam Husain in Multan. Shafiqur Rahman has been transferred from Ahmadpur East to Lahore, Muhammad Yousaf Aujla from Sialkot to Mianwali, Muhammad Ajmal Husain from Lahore to Rahim Yar Khan, Muhammad Nawaz from Multan to Kasur, Muhammad Anwar Butt from Kot Addu to Muzaffargarh, Abdul Haseeb from Jhang to Khanewal, Muhammad Azam Saroya from Haroonabad to Bahawalnagar, Muhammad Zubair Aziz from Chichawatni to Rawalpindi, Ziaul Qamar from Lahore to Pakpattan, Muhammad Tariq from Shujabad to Gujrat, Muhammad Ashraf from Muzaffargarh to Gujranwala and Muhammad Akbar Bahadur from Wazirabad to Faisalabad.

NEWLY APPOINTED: The newly appointed AD&SJs and there places of posting are Nisar Beg Lahore, Muhammad Ittifaq Sheikhupura, Rana Masood Akhtar Faisalabad, Abdul Rasheed Rajanpur, Sheikh Khalid Bashir Daska, Shafqat Ali Pasrur, Mubin Ahmad Sheikhupura, Suhail Ikram Lahore, Khalid Naveed Dar Faisalabad, Ameer Muhammad Khan Gujrat, Jawadul Hasan Sialkot, Muhammad Musharraf Hasan Sumra Bahawalnagar, Muhammad Sarwar Sidhu, Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal Naeem Faisalabad, Irfan Ahmad Saeed Burewala, Asif Majeed Awan Sahiwal, Rao Abdul Jabbar Khan Faisalabad, Muhammad Tanveer Akbar Sargodha, Sadaqatullah Khan Lahore and Ikramullah Lahore.
