KARACHI, Oct 8: The process of admissions to MSc in Biotechnology, University of Karachi, will begin on Oct 10.
This was announced by the chairman, department of Biotechnology, Prof Abid Azhar, on Monday.
He said that the admission forms would be issued from the United Bank’s counter at the silver jubilee gate of the University and would have to be deposited at the same counter by October 20.
Students with a second class BSc/BSc (Honours)/MBBS/BSc Medical Technology with Biotechnology or Microbiology as a subject are eligible to apply.
Those appearing in the 4th/6th semester of the allied departments of the university are also eligible for the provisional admission.
He said that admissions to MSc were granted on the basis of performance in the pre-requisite examination, admission test and interviews.—APP\PPI
