KARACHI, Oct 7: The World Mental Health Day will be observed on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Association for Mental Health, as in previous years, has planned various activities for the annual event.

The programmes include a seminar on stress, distress and depression, for family physicians at a local hotel on Wednesday.

A workshop on the Mental Health Ordinance 2001 is scheduled for Oct 21, where noted psychiatrists, lawyers and opinion-makers will speak.

Last year the association had organised three psycho- education seminars and a mental health day camp.
