KOHAT, Oct 5: The Zila Council in its session held on Thursday evening constituted 15 committees and a 13-member advisory counsel which will supervise development work and ensure quick solution to public complaints.
The session was held at the KDA district council hall and presided over by the district nazim, Engineer Malik Asad. He told the councillors that the committees would facilitate both the members and the people in early solution of the complaints and save time.
The committees thus formed and names of members are: finance, Malik Asad, Fawad Khan, Khan Amir and Saeed Shah; justice, Pir Saadullah Shah, Mehtabul Hassan, Abdur Rasheed, Momin Shah and Mohammad Fareed; health, Tariq Hussain Shah, Abdur Rasheed, Mohammad Arif, Pir Saadullah Shah, Ms Musarrat Shafi and Ms Falak Naz; local bodies, Mohammad Iqbal, Gul Zaman, Tariq Mumtaz, Saadullah Shah, Farooq Durrani and Maaroof Jan; Zakat and social welfare, Momin Shah, Abdul Aziz, Zulfiqar Ali, Sarfaraz Khan, Ghulam Rabbi, Ms Bilqees Hamayun, Ms Zakia Khatoon, Ms Falak Naz and Ms Fareeda Akhtar; education (male) Ghiasud Din, Inayat Ali, Mati Ullah, Iftikhar Ahmed; education (female) Ms Naseem Akhtar, Ms Fareeda Akhtar, Ms Chaman Sultan, Ghalib Gul, Abdul Aziz and Wariz Khan; public safety, Fazal-i-Rabbi, Fawad Khan, Bashir Khan, Inayat Ali, Misal Khan, Tariq Mumtaz and Gul Zaman; sports and culture, Nauman Shah, Mohammad Iqbal, Shah Khan and Pir Ishaq; petroleum and national resources, Khursheed Khan Khattak, Sardar Khan, Inayat Ali and Shaukat Khan; Accounts, Ghiasud Din, Bashir Khan, Azizur Rehman, Mohammad Anwar, Hashmat Khan, Ms Chaman Sultan, Ms Hussan Farzana and Ms Yasmin; Wapda, Mohammad Fawad, Saadullah Shah, Mohammad Iqbal, Mehtabul Hassan, and Rasheed Khattak; irrigation, Malik Asad, Hashmat Ali Khan, Momeen Khan, Rasheed Khattak, Inayat Ali, Nauman Shah and Bashir Khan; basic health units, Mohammad Umar, Moahmmad Fareed, Mohammad Anwar, Shaukat Hayat and Ms Fareeda Akhtar; vice and virtue, Tariq Mumtaz, Habibur Rehman, Ateequr Rehman, Syed Mir Shah, Haji Iftikhar and Pir Saddullah Shah and emergency, Matiuulah Shah, Abdur Rasheed, Rasheed Khattak, Arif Mohammad and Ms Sahira Mansoor.
